THE GOD OF ALL FLESH IS THE GOD OF SUPERNATURAL PROVISIONS BY REV. DR. UMOREN AKPAN

Sunday Service
Date: 24th May, 2026
Speaker: Rev. (Dr.) Umoren S. Akpan
Topic: The God of All Flesh Is the God of Supernatural Provision
Text: 2 Corinthians: 4: 1 – 18

Introduction:
In a world filled with uncertainties, economic hardship, fear, and mounting pressures, it is easy for believers to become discouraged and begin to question the promises of God. Yet, the truth remains unshaken: God is faithful, dependable, and unchanging. Men may fail, circumstances may shift, and challenges may arise, but God remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
This message is a reminder that the God of all flesh is still actively involved in the affairs of His people. He is the covenant-keeping God who never abandons those who trust in Him. Regardless of the storms surrounding us, God is still able to provide, sustain, preserve, and bring His promises to fulfillment.
The believer’s confidence is not built on visible circumstances but on the integrity of God’s Word.
Even when situations seem impossible, God specializes in doing the supernatural.
God Remains Faithful in Difficult Times

3 John 2
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
2 Corinthians 4:8–10
“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;”

No matter what the enemy throws against the children of God, believers are not defeated because God’s promises are sure and dependable. The pressures of life do not define the believer’s destiny. God is still working behind the scenes for the glory and lifting of His people.
2 Corinthians 4:17–18
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;”
The trials of today are temporary, but the glory that God is preparing is eternal.

Therefore, believers must remain steadfast, confident, and hopeful in God.
The God of Supernatural Provision
God’s supply system is powerful, inexhaustible, and not subject to natural limitations. Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly demonstrated that He is able to provide for His people regardless of economic conditions, geographical limitations, social status, or human impossibilities.
Natural circumstances have never limited God, and they will never limit Him in the lives of His children today.

Some Biblical Examples of Supernatural Provisions:

  1. Joseph was imprisoned in a strange land, he was helpless, abandoned and forgotten by men, yet God elevated him from the prison to the palace because His hand was upon him.
  2. Abraham trusted God for the fulfillment of His promise concerning a son, even when it seemed naturally impossible, and God fulfilled His Word faithfully.
  3. Isaac prospered in the land of the Philistines during famine, drought, and scarcity because he trusted in the covenant God of Abraham his father.
  4. Jacob entered the house of Laban with nothing, yet God’s presence upon his life brought increase and blessing wherever he went.
These examples remind believers that God’s presence upon a person guarantees divine preservation, favour, increase, and supernatural provision.
    God’s Provision Knows No Limits
    Philippians 4:19
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
God is not limited by race, gender, age, economy, location, or time. His resources are unlimited, and His ability to provide remains unquestionable.
    1 Kings 17:14
“For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail…”
Even in seasons of scarcity, God is able to sustain His people supernaturally.
    2 Kings 7:1
“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel…”
The same God who brought abundance to Israel in a time of severe famine is still able to release overflow and supernatural breakthroughs today.
    Matthew 17:24–27
“And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter…”
Jesus demonstrated that supernatural provision is real when He instructed Peter to obtain money from the mouth of a fish to pay their tribute. God still provides in miraculous ways for those who trust Him.

Keys to Supernatural Provision:
1. Have Faith in God:
Faith positions believers to receive from God. It is impossible to experience supernatural provision while living in fear, doubt, and unbelief. God responds to faith.
Believers must trust God completely, knowing that nothing is too difficult for Him.
2 Corinthians 9:8
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”
God is the God of all grace, and with Him there is no impossibility.

2. Maintain a God-First Mentality:
Putting God first is a major key to experiencing supernatural provision. A believer must understand that life is ultimately about God and His kingdom.
When God is prioritized, He takes responsibility for the affairs of His people. Living a life of obedience, honour, and devotion to God opens the door for divine supply.
Giving, tithes, and offerings are also scriptural pathways through which believers experience supernatural provision and kingdom blessings.

Conclusion:
As believers, our lives must be governed by the Word of God and not by the opinions, fears, or predictions of men. The God of all flesh is still on the throne, and He remains the God of supernatural provision.
No situation is beyond His power, and no need is beyond His supply. He is able to preserve, sustain, elevate, and bless His people even in difficult times. Therefore, believers must remain unwavering in faith, steadfast in trust, and confident in the covenant promises of God.
No matter what challenges may arise, God is still faithful, and His provision will never fail those who trust in Him.
