WEAPON OF OUR SPIRITUAL WARFARE PT5.
*📖 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
Dear Kingdom friend, our God, Jehovah, is The Lord of Hosts. Jesus is the head of all principalities and powers. In our conclusion of this series, we will like to consider the armor of the word of God.
The word of God is our stronghold in spiritual warfare. The Almighty God is committed to His word in battle. God’s word is supreme engendering conquest for the believer.
God is The Commander General of all of Heaven’s armies, and His word is non-negotiable when declared according to His will.
In Ephesians 6:17 ‘And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit , which is the word of God :
The word of God, according to the above scripture, is the sword of the Spirit. What do warriors use the sword for? To cut off the opponent in battle.
When you are confronted with a challenge, settle down to gather the appropriate word that addresses that issue. By speaking the right word, God will arise to your rescue. The wicked will do everything within their reach to keep you off the word so he can make a mess of your life and destiny. You have to be intentional to study and know the word for yourself against the day of battle.
David conquered Goliath by the word. Jesus told Satan “Mann shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceed out of the mouth of God, and Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God… Ach-angel Michael said to Lucifer when they where in contension for the body of Moses, ‘Satan the Lord rebuke you’, and that was it.
God’s word carries enormous power. Knowing the Word and having it renew your mind is so important in the battles of life. ‘Let the Word of God dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16). The knowledge of God’s Word makes you discerning; you’re able to judge good from evil and prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). With the light of God’s Word, you’re able to judge what’s coming from you, what’s coming from Satan, or what’s coming from God.
In Colossians 3:16
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
In Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” In Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the bone and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
The word of God is all you need for ever winning life.

*Father, grant me the understanding of Your word.
*Father, I receive boldness to declare Your word always.
*I refuse to be ignorant of the word of God.
*Father, let Your word be alive in our churches.
