FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT PT3.
*📖_But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law. Galathians 5:22,23.
The Kingdom of God to which we belong by redemption, is a Kingdom of principles.
By redemption, our God, The God of all flesh, in His wisdom, endow in us the fruit of the Spirit, for a triumphant Christian adventure.
In part three of this series, let’s look at two of the fruits carefully.
LONG SUFFERING and GOODNESS.
A person who is long suffering is someone who shows restraint when stirred to anger.
By this grace on you, you are not quick to retaliate or revenge.
You are patient looking unto God for divine intervention.
The Living word says, Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Christ.
2 CORINTHIANS 4:8-10.
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed: we are perplexed, but not in despair:
Persecuted, but not forsaken: cast down, but not destroyed:
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
Glory to God.
GOODNESS is the quality of being morally good or virtuous.
ACTS 10:38a- How God anointed Jesus of Nasareth with the Holy Ghost and power, who went about doing good…
Jesus, our role model, central focus and the foundation of our Christian faith, is goodness ( kindness) personified.
If Christ is truly in us, doing good or showing kindness becomes our natural lifestyle. Hallelujah.
What kindness have we shown to God’s people recently?
Or have we tried to block kindness from extending to others?
Lord have mercy.
This is a divine call for us to manifest these Godly virtuous to God’s glory.
Mathew 7:17-20…Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bringeth forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth no forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast in the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits we shall know them.

PRAYER=
*Father, I receive fresh grace for Godly patience.
*Lord, frustrate the spirit of demonic anger in my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
*Lord deliver me from habits that wants to resist the manifestation of the fruit of the spirit in my life.
*I Recieve grace like Jesus to do good everywhere I go.
*I receive grace to repay good for evil in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let God’s word dwell in you richly.
