FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT PT5.
*📖_But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law. Galathians 5:22,23.
The Kingdom of God to which we belong by redemption, is a Kingdom of divine principles.
By redemption, our God, The God of all flesh, in His wisdom, endow in us the fruit of the Spirit, for a triumphant Christian adventure.
In part five of this concluding series, let’s look at two of the fruits carefully, GENTLENESS and MEEKNESS.
Gentleness means behaving in a manner that is gentle and mild and Meekness means the condition of being HUMBLE. Gentleness and meekness simply means Jesus’s order of humility.
Jesus ,The King of kings and Lord of lords our role model humbled Himself, even unto death on the Cross. In Philippians 2:8-10 ‘And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. NIV.
As true believers, an imitators of Christ, we have no business with pride. The scriptures says, pride goes before a fall.
What do you have that you did not receive 1 Corinthians 4:7. A man can recieve nothing, except it be given him from Heaven. John 3:27-30.
Now the man Moses was very meek… Numbers 12:3a… and the man Moses was very great. Exodus 11:3. From the scripture, Moses was very meek and God commanded greatness upon him.
Any man that desires sustainable real greatness and want to fulfill His or her destiny should learn to humble himself under the mighty hand of God that in due time He will lift you up. Remember, God resist the proud and gives grace to the humble.
We live in a very proud generation where men believe that it’s their wisdom, smartness and human connections that has earned them wealth, position and prosperity. There’s no future for the proud, dear friend.
The way to the top is humility. I pray that the Lord gives you understanding to embrace the spirit of humility so as to receive grace to fulfill your destiny and live a victorious and extraordinary life. Amen.

- My father and my Lord, thank you for pouring your spirit of humility upon me
- Lord deliver me from the spirit of pride.
- Father, grant unto me self control.
- Lord deliver me from every roots of pride.
- Satan the devil will not corrupt my Godly fruits.
- Abundance of meekness is mine always.
