NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD. Pt.1
đź“–Jeremiah 32:27- Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh : is there anything too had for me?
Our God is a God of divine possibilities. He is a specialist in turning impossible situations around.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,, Ephesians 3:20.
Please read carefully. GENESIS 18:9-14.
- And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
- And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
- Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
- Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
- And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
- Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
In the above Bible reading, we see that Abraham and Sarah were past childbearing age when God visited them in form of three humans. While they were entertaining Him, He told Abraham that Sarah would have a baby in nine months. The Bible says that Sarah laughed within her. I would have also laughed because, biologically, a 90- year-old woman cannot bear a child. However, God was true to His word, and nine months later, Sarah laughed again because she became a mother. The essence of this illustration is to emphasize that there is nothing impossible for our God to do.
Today, it is so easy to become overwhelmed and discouraged by what we see in the Nigerian environment and the socio political crisis around the world. . Economic uncertainties, unemployment, spiral inflation, unimaginable level of poverty, diseases, poor physical infrastructures, upheavals , insecurity, and political tensions that seem to affect every fibre of our being and can cause our hearts to be terrified. Yet the Bible reminds us that though we are in the world, we are not of the world (John 17:16).Throughout Scriptures, we see that natural conditions have never limited God’s provision for His people. Joseph prospered in Egypt during a time of severe famine. Abraham also prospered in a time of famine, while Isaac sowed during a famine and reaped a hundredfold harvest, so much so that the Philistines became envious of him.
In Philippians 4:19 declares, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” His provision flows from His inexhaustible riches, not from the limited resources of this world. God’s supplies operates independently of the world’s economy, and He desires to bless His people exceeding abundantly above all that we can ever ask or think.
Beloved , I have good news for you today: if you have been struggling with your health, finances, relationships, academics or having a rough year generally, God will supernaturally open great doors and turn your situation around. He will also turn any negative situation that might exist in your life and family around for good. Go ahead now and laugh; put the devil to shame because the God of all flesh is working things out for your favour.
