WEAPON OF OUR SPIRITUAL WARFARE PT2 .
*đź“– For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
Dear friend, don’t be misled, high tension wickedness is real, but more real is the victorious power of the Almighty God, The God of all flesh. Right from your mother’s womb, the devil have been fighting your glorious destiny, but our God, The mighty man of war, have been preserving you till this hour and has promised to preserve you to the end of time.
By redemption, your life is in the hands of God Almighty, and no demon,principalities, or powers can pluck you out of His hands. They will surely gather against you and your household, but they will not prevail.
In part 2 of this series we’ll be examining righteousness as an armour of warfare.
In 2 Corinthians 6:7 “By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left.” From the scriptures above, it’s clear that righteousness is a very powerful weapon of warfare available to believers in order to win the battles of life. The Bible called it an armour that is on the right hand and on the left hand.
The devil is the accuser of the brethren. Condemnation of the children is his principal weapon. As a believer you will not be able to physically contend with the devil because your weapon of warfare are spiritual.
Remember that in the battles of life there is no “neutral” side. We must choose to join one side or the other, for “no one can serve two masters” (Luke 16:13) and you know that our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12).
Many Christians today are constantly under severe attacks of the enemy because they are lukewarm and have not taken a decision to make righteousness their lifestyle. They have not overcome poverty, sickness, diseases, demonic oppression, afflictions and other unpleasant experiences because the armour of righteousness of God is not inputed on them. It doesn’t matter how much you bind and cast demons and their enterprises, if you’re not in right standing with God for God to take over your battles, you will continue to live a defeated and unfulfilled life.
In Isaiah 54:17 The Bible inform us that no weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
By redemption, believers have inputed righteousness and by God’s grace, have the privilege of fighting on the winning side (Revelation 20:7–14). As we know, “it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s”
Righteousness and your total dependence on God cause you to be seated with God in heavenly places far above powers and principalities and all satanic onslaughts.
Prayer Points.
. My father, my father, I come before You today acknowledging Your sovereignty over every aspect of my life.
. Father, I declare that by the righteousness of God, no weapon formed against me and my family shall prosper,
. Lord, I plead Your divine protection over my body, mind, soul, and spirit.
. My father and my Lord, please surround me with Your angels and set a hedge of protection around my life, my family, and all that concerns me.
. My father, I reject every attack of the enemy that seeks to bring confusion, fear, sickness, or destruction.
. My Father, my father, please give me discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and boldness to resist them through righteousness, prayers, faith, and Your Word.
