I AM THE GOD OF ALL FLESH BY REV. (DR.) UMOREN AKPAN

Sunday Service Message:
Date: 10th May, 2026
Speaker: Rev. (Dr.) Umoren S. Akpan
Topic: I Am the God of All Flesh
Text: Jeremiah 32: 17 – 27

Introduction:
Our God remains the unchanging and everlasting God, the One who rules over all creation and before whom nothing is impossible.
From generation to generation, He has continually revealed Himself as the God of all flesh, the One who speaks and brings His word to pass regardless of human limitations, doubt, or impossibility.
In the days of Pharaoh, God revealed Himself as “I AM THAT I AM,” declaring His supreme authority and eternal nature. He also visited Sarah in her old age and fulfilled His promise despite her disbelief. These encounters remind us that God is not limited by human weakness, time, or circumstances. What He has promised, He is able to perform.
Therefore, believers are encouraged to commit their expectations, dreams, desires, and aspirations into the hands of God, knowing that the God of all flesh is still mighty to save, restore, heal, and deliver. His power remains unchanged, and His faithfulness endures forever.

The Scripture in Jeremiah 32 reveals the greatness and limitless power of God. He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and there is absolutely nothing too difficult for Him. The same God who formed all things is able to rebuild broken lives, recreate lost opportunities, and restore every failing situation.
Even when Sarah doubted God’s promise, her unbelief could not stop God from fulfilling His word. This teaches us that God is ever committed to His promises. Human weakness does not cancel divine faithfulness.
God demonstrated His mighty power when He delivered the children of Israel from Egypt with signs, wonders, and a strong hand. He smote the firstborn of Egypt to secure the freedom of His people and proved Himself as the God of vengeance and justice. In the same way, God will fight for His children today and grant them victory over every opposition.

As the Sustainer of life, God is able to preserve, protect, and perfect all that concerns His people. When God is with a person, every obstacle surrenders because all power belongs to Him alone.

Facts About The God of All Flesh:
1. God Alone Has Sovereign Power and Authority Over All Things:
God reigns supreme over every power, ruler, authority, and circumstance. No force in heaven, on earth, or beneath the earth can challenge His dominion.

2. He Rules Over Kings and Kingdoms:
The affairs of nations and rulers are under God’s control. He alone determines the rise and fall of kingdoms.
Daniel 4:17 “This matter is by the decree of the watchers…”

3. God Enthrones Kings and Dethrones Kings:
God is the ultimate authority over leadership and governance. No human power can stand against the God of all flesh because His dominion spans throughout heaven and earth.

4. God Specializes in Doing the Impossible:
Situations that appear hopeless before men are opportunities for God to reveal His power and glory.
Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh…”

5. God Overturns Every Unpleasant Situation:
No negative circumstance is beyond God’s ability to change. He turns mourning into joy, shame into honor, and captivity into freedom.

6. God Restores Whatever Is Dead:
No matter how dry or hopeless a situation may seem, God has the power to bring life, restoration, and renewal.
Ezekiel 37:1–10 “The hand of the LORD was upon me…” And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live!? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest”

Jeremiah 32:17 “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth…”
Genesis 18:14 “Is any thing too hard for the LORD?…”

Conclusion:
The message “I Am the God of All Flesh” is a powerful reminder that God remains unlimited in power, faithful to His promises, and sovereign over every situation of life. No matter the challenge, delay, weakness, or impossibility, God is still able to do exceedingly above human expectations.
Believers are therefore encouraged to trust completely in God, remain steadfast in faith, and hold firmly to His promises. The God who delivered Israel, remembered Sarah, and brought dry bones back to life is still at work today. He is able to restore, uplift, heal, deliver, and perfect all that concerns His children.
Indeed, there is nothing too hard for the God of all flesh.
