THE MIND OF CHRIST PT2.
*đź“– For who hath known the mind of the Lord,, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16.
God’s word is ever potent. As revealed in part one of this series, the mind of Christ is a regenerated mind, aligned to the eternal will of God, The Father of all flesh.
Having the mind of Christ means that believers understand God’s plan in the world which is principally to bring glory to Himself, restore man to God’s original plan and bring unbelievers to Christ’s marvelous light. It means that believers aligned with Christ’s purpose of seeking to save lost souls. (Luke 19:10). It means we identify with Jesus’s lifestyle of love, peace, humility and obedience (Philippians 2:5-8), compassion (Matthew 9:36), and total dependence on God (Luke 5:16).
In order to have the mind of Christ, one must first receive salvation(John 1:12; 1 John 5:12). After salvation, the believer must consciously daily live a life which align with God’s instructions and guidance. The Holy Spirit indwells and enlightens the believer, infusing him with the spirit of wisdom and power. The believer must bear the responsibility of yielding to the holy Spirit’s at all times (Ephesians 4:30) and his life must be transformed by the renewing of his mind and always seeking to please God.
Five ways believers can renew their mind to align with the mind of Christ are:
. Continuous meditation of God’s word.
. Living a lifestyle of unshakeable faith.
. Continuous fellowship with the brethren.
. Continuous praying and working for Kingdom advancement.
. Continuous soul winning engagements.
. Living a lifestyle of Thanksgiving.

. Father thank you for the Holy Spirit that is in me and helps me to be in alignment with the mind of Jesus.
. I have the mind of Christ in Jesus name.
. Father, Satan will not corrupt my mind in Jesus name.
. I align my mind according to your will for my life.
. Lord, let your word dwell in me richly.
. Lord, purge my heart from wickedness and the distractions of the world.
