SUNDAYS WORKERS’ TRAINING

Highlight Of Sunday Workers’ Training
Date: 15th February, 2026
Topic: Kingdom Stewardship
Speaker: Pastor Kingsley Akrasi

Introduction:
Kingdom Stewardship is the dedicated commitment to understanding that all resources belong to God. These resources include our time, money, energy, gifts, skills, and talents.

True stewardship prioritizes prayer, sacrificial service, and intentional commitment toward church expansion. When we steward God’s resources faithfully, it results in divine blessings, fulfillment of purpose, and advancement of His Kingdom.

Lesson Profile 1: Various Aspects of Kingdom Stewardship

  1. Soul Winning
The most profitable endeavor for every believer is service to God, especially spiritual stewardship through soul winning.
2 Timothy 2:19 – “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.”
Soul winning adds to God’s Kingdom. However, it does not end with winning souls; we must follow up and follow through, ensuring they are firmly planted and rooted in the faith.
  2. Prayers for Church Growth
Kingdom Stewardship emphasizes consistent and intentional prayers for church growth and advancement. Prayer fuels expansion and sustains spiritual impact.
  3. Stewardship of Gifts and Talents
Kingdom Stewardship involves responsibly managing the talents and skills God has entrusted to us and harnessing them for gospel advancement. This proves our love for God and demonstrates accountability.
1 Peter 4:10 – “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
1 Corinthians 4:1 – “Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.”
Matthew 25:1 – “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.”
We visibly express these gifts for Kingdom advancement.
  4. Financial Stewardship;
Financial stewardship means serving God with our wealth and possessions.
Deut; 16: 17 “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee”
Through financial faithfulness, we actively support and sustain the work of the ministry.

Lesson Profile 2: How Kingdom Stewardship Drives Church Growth:

  1. It Supports Evangelism
Financial stewardship enables active evangelism, as resources are required to fund crusades and outreaches.
Mark 16:20 – “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”
A clear understanding of stewardship makes believers more intentional and active in soul winning.
  2. It Builds a Strong Support System
Where Kingdom Stewardship is practiced, there is unity and availability of helping hands to support the work.
2 Timothy 4:9 – “Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me.”
Acts 13:2 – “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.”
  3. It Increases Ministry Capacity
When stewardship is embraced, people serve purposefully and willingly, increasing the effectiveness and reach of the ministry.
  4. It Strengthens Discipleship
Consistent prayers, intentional follow-ups, and commitment to discipleship produce lasting results. Every believer becomes responsible for training faithful people with what they have learned.

Qualities of a Good Steward

A good steward:
Must be born again.
Must be a lover of God.
Must be available for God’s work.
Must have passion for God’s work.
Must hunger for lost souls.
Must be faithful.

Conclusion:
Kingdom Stewardship is not merely an activity. It is a lifestyle of responsibility, devotion, and accountability to God. When every worker understands that all we have belongs to God, we serve with sincerity, give with joy, pray with consistency, and pursue souls with passion.
As we embrace Kingdom Stewardship wholeheartedly, we position ourselves as faithful stewards of God’s grace, ready to expand His Kingdom and fulfill His divine purpose in our generation.
